Night Navigation Course

A few months ago we had a night nav course that we promised would be about 2 hours to complete - it ended up being quite a bit longer than we thought.

Last night I went on a ride with my buddy Kevin on the lake bed of Lake Allatoona near where Little River and Noonday Creek join. We didn't ride too far, but on the ride I started thinking that with the thigh deep creeks now running at ankle deep, and over-your-head-in-places Little River at about thigh deep, the lake bed would be a great place to hold an o-meet.

This one will be 4-5 miles long, finishable in an hour.

Details (more to come):

When: Saturday November 17
Start: 6:00pm
End: Must be off the course by 10:00pm
Where: My house in Woodstock, Ga.
Limit: 50 people (must keep the number of cars parked on the street and cul-de-sacs to a minimum)
