Free Gear Sweepstakes Rules

Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older as of 7/15/06. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of Outside Elecronics ("Sponsor"), any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers (collectively, the "Released Parties"), and any such employee's immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, any child, husband, wife, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win a prize. Void where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.
Two Ways to Enter: 1) Visit www.outsideelectronics.com between 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time ("ET") on 7/15/06 and 11:59:59 a.m. ET on 12/1/06 (the "Promotion Period") and complete and submit the Official Online Entry Form; OR 2) hand print your complete name, address, zip code, telephone number and date of birth on a plain 3" x 5" piece of paper and mail in an envelope beginning on 7/15/06 to be postmarked by 12/1/06 and received by 12/5/06 to: Free Gear Sweepstakes, 708 Players Ct. Woodstock, GA 30189. You may enter by mail as often as you like, however, each mail-in entry must be mailed separately. Only one online entry per person and per e-mail address per day will be accepted. In case of multiple online entries on any day from any one person or email address, only the first online entry will be accepted. The use of any device to automate entry is prohibited and any such entries will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant based on e-mail address submitted, entry will be deemed submitted by the primary holder of the e-mail account. "Primary holder" is defined as the person assigned to an e-mail account by the entity responsible for assigning e-mail accounts for the domain associated with the entry in question. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied or facsimile entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, incomplete, stolen, damaged, illegible, garbled, late, postage due, delayed, undelivered or misdirected entries or mail, inaccurate entry or other sweepstakes-related information or failures or malfunctions of internet connections, phones, phone lines, telephone systems; or technical or mechanical malfunctions, or other malfunctions or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming used in this sweepstakes, human or processing errors or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, or for printing, typographical or other errors appearing in these rules or other sweepstakes materials. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any entries of entrants whom Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this sweepstakes. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about 8/1/06, 9/1/06, 10/1/06, 11/1/06, 12/1/06 for $100, $200, $300, $400, $500 prizies from among all eligible entries received by OE, Inc. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges, which will be final and binding in all respects. Winner will be notified by electronic mail and/or regular mail. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received and timeing of each entry. Each entry, whether submitted via online or by mail will have an equal chance of winning.
Prizes: (1) December Prize: $500 in OE online store credit awarded in the form of a coupon code. Approximate Retail Value = $500. (1) November Prize: $400 in OE online store credit awarded in the form of a coupon code. Approximate Retail Value = $400. (1) October Prize: $300 in OE online store credit awarded in the form of a coupon code. Approximate Retail Value = $300. (1) September Prize: $200 in OE online store credit awarded in the form of a coupon code. Approximate Retail Value = $200. (1) August Prize: $100 in OE online store credit awarded in the form of a coupon code. Approximate Retail Value = $100. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other expenses not specifically stated herein are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prize (or portion of prize) except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability and then for a prize (or portion of prize) of equal or greater value as determined by Sponsor. Winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (where legal) within 10 days of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with the foregoing or return of prize notification as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner being selected. Entrants agree, by entering, that: 1. Sponsor and its designees may use (unless prohibited by law), if entrant is a winner, entrant's name, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purposes in any media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification, and 2. Released Parties shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrant for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, including any travel or activity related thereto, or participation in this sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, and/or terminate this sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the sweepstakes and, in the case of suspension or termination, at its discretion, select winner from eligible non-suspect entries received prior to event requiring such termination or suspension.
